Ico Asagiwa

Ico Asagiwa became a full time illustrator in 2021. Styling herself as a “Neo Taisho Romantic”, she feels like she was born 70 years late.

Her work often depicts vividly coloured motifs such as pre-war maids, waitresses, Japanese swords and traditional toys.

She also explores other artistic fields, not just illustration, with output in music, anime, manga and kimono fashion.

She aims to bring forth her art from the page into the real world.
